Holy Crap another update in a week!?

yes indeed, I'm updating with yet another sketch post! holy crap. and crap it is...haha. I was just doin some more animal sketches with a little playing around with making little character/story outa them...well..outa the elephants again. the damn gazelles were pissin me off. soo anyways...it's all about the poor elephant's struggle to get even the smallest morsel of food (the leaf)....and...yea. that's all.

Yes indeed, I have gone and finally updated my blogger with new images! What follows are elephant and elephant character sketches I did at Oakland Zoo, a sketch of a highly refined pirate, a watercolor from the Borders balcony at Santana Row on a Farmer's Market day, and my egg and object paintings for tidepool class (I love my Homer). I don't really have much to say about em...they are what they are. I have looked at Heinrich Kley's drawings (he does a lotta elephant characters)...I think I'll be lookin at his drawings again soon, especially paying attention to his technique. Other than that...uh...yea...that's about it! hahaha.

well...it's about damn time I update this cause I haven't touched it since the beginning of summer and a lot's happened since then..geeze not only do I have to post some new crap, but I gotta update links too!

first stuff of the summer

well...technically not, but these two watercolors are the first things that I'm posting from my summer sketching. One's from Santana Row and the other's from Cupertino Village. Still learning watercolor, and even got a new watercolor set since creating these (which were done with watercolor pencils).

beginning

well, here's my first art post. It contains some of my choice pieces up until the end of this past semester, but not all of those pieces. Some (mostly major projects) can be found at my myspace here. Anyways, included are pages from my sketch folio which was part of my portfolio for the review to get into the program, as well as my single favorite figure drawing which was done just before the review. My profile pic is a shadow-shape self portrait on toned paper which I did for the sketch folio during the short period that I had a mohawk.

Ahh a new place....

So I've gotten a little tired of dealing with the limited number of pictures in Myspace and having to put the images in photobucket and then putting the image tag into my page just to display them...so why not just move to posting my work at a place where I can just leave it all permanently and write about them as I wish? so here I am, and here comes my crapalicious work..eventually...gotta go!
